After planning for weeks, we finally went to Osteria Mozza with Sherry and Miguel on Thursday night. To avoid the trouble of getting a reservation, we got in line at 5:15 and scored great seats at the Mozzarella Bar. The meal was incredible – the highlight was probably the above burrata cheese, flown in from Italy that day and soaked in the most delicious olive oil I’ve ever tasted. And I loved watching Nancy Silverton grating parm and adding sea salt to appetizers behind the counter. Sherry said she’s usually in head to toe Marni, which sounds like the epitome of foodie chicness.
