Old California New California

Paid a visit to our city’s museum on a hill, The Getty Center, to catch Carleton Watkins’ photography exhibit in its last few days on view. Watkins gained international fame photographing California and the West in the late 1800s. After taking in the show, we wandered through the Richard Meier buildings and enjoyed the gloriously warm weather and the perfectly pruned gardens.
