In honor of this chilly weather, my mom invited us over for some delicious Pappa al Pomodoro soup, from Ina Garten’s new cookbook. The soup is hearty and healthy and gets topped with homemade croutons (how good is that?). Click HERE for the recipe.

After the soup, we had the best chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. These were left over from a Valentine’s Day dinner party my mom had hosted over the weekend. Delicious!
