Baking (and eating) for a good cause…

This Sunday is the annual No Cookie Left Behind Bake Sale and as always, it’s bound to be pretty special day. The main attraction is a spread of delicious treats by professional and home bakers (there are rumors of bacon date scones and very spicy chocolate chip cookies; granola by The Granola Project and loads of vegan treats) And as always, every dollar goes to Share Our Strength in the fight against childhood hunger.

Here are my questions for you, my lovely readers (many of whom I believe love to bake and/or eat):

1. Are you an LA-based baker, who wants to be a part of this day? We would gladly accept your baking donation.
2. Would you like to attend our sale? We need hungry shoppers as much as we need bakers!
3. If you can’t make it but still want to donate to this important cause, please click HERE.

Lastly, I am really looking forward to a Saturday afternoon baking in the kitchen but am at a loss of inspiration on what to bake. Are there any recipes you’re currently loving or been wanting to try out? What have you been baking? Would love to hear.
