Had an insane meal at Daikokuya in Little Tokyo. We waited for half an hour for seats at the smoky, hot bar and I would do it again without a second thought, the food was that good.

The real piece de resistance here is the Daikokuya Raumen, which cooks for something like 24 hours. Pork bones simmer and hard boiled eggs are marinated into what becomes the thickest, richest and tastiest concoction I’ve had in ages.
