Last week, I made a trip down to Santa Monica to visit Zoe Nathan, an old friend who is the amazing pastry chef at the newly opened Huckleberry Cafe. Zoe’s pastries were everything that the LA Times and the LA Weekly have cracked em up to be: DELICIOUS. Zoe recommended the blueberry cornmeal coffeecake along with the plum tart and the savory flatbread. My friend Lisa and I indulged in this greatness while sipping lattes. Heaven!
