Just read about Cake Monkey on Daily Candy and am now salivating.

Get this genius concept: 3″ single serving 3 layer cakes. A whole cake for one person! The flavor selection looks amazing – Cake Monkey Crunch Cake (Banana Cake with Homemade Toffee Crunch, Milk Chocolate Frosting and Caramelized Bananas) and Almond Orangutan (Almond Cake with Homemade Orange Preserves and Orange Scented Buttercream) sound downright divine.

The website says they deliver so Ellen and I desperately called the number ready to order two cakes on the double. Turns out, it’s not like pizza delivery – they need 48 hrs notice. Here’s to cake on Friday….
