“A really sustainable idea for a garden is good design, lasting design”

There is an inspirational piece in today’s Los Angeles Times about preserving historical gardens and how to design landscapes that last for years here in Southern California. The Garden Conservancy, a nonprofit that preserves notable American gardens, is holding a two-day seminar and garden tour at the end of the month. I would love to see these properties and more in person, but alas, I bring you a virtual tour.
