So…my Sunday night dinner menu shifted. I started thinking about roast chicken, which I love for its simple perfection, but I wanted to dress it up a bit for mom and grandma. Which led me to Ina Garten’s Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic. And if you’re making Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic, there’s no other option, in my humble opinion, then to serve it alongside Moroccan Couscous with Roasted Vegetables. As you can see, the menu shift had no bearing on the Chocolate Guinness Cake, the baking of which perfumed my house for the entire day.
