True Gifts

I know people have mixed feelings on the very very controversial issue of scented candles, but I happen to love them. My mom just came back from a weekend in San Francisco and gave me these two beauties. The McEvoy Ranch Verde candle is my absolute favorite. My sister discovered it at a little shop at the Ferry Building and I’ve been burning it at the gallery every day. It’s beyond delish.

She also surprised me with a super special Diptyque holiday candle in Pine. The packaging, the color the scent – all beautiful and cozy in that wintery way. Perfect for our 65 degree cold spell.

This did however get me thinking about the gift giving season, which is basically upon us. I will definitely be ordering a couple of these Diptyque candles for my nearest and dearest. And sorry to bring up Heath again (although from the impassioned comments on my last post, I don’t think it’s going to be a problem), but how gorgeous are these mugs in their special holiday red? Oh yeah, someone on my list will be receiving a set for sure.
