YSL at the de Young

Just returned late last night from spending Christmas week in beautiful San Francisco. One of the highlights was seeing the Yves Saint Laurent exhibition at the de Young museum. Over 130 garments (mostly dresses) were on display including a wedding dress designed in the style of William Shakespeare, a knitted wedding dress cocoon, a cape worn by Lauren Bacall and many gorgeous gowns inspired by his time in Morocco.
