I have ice cream on the brain.
I’m thinking about it, writing about it and eating it. Summer is here, yes, which makes me recall hot days tempered by icy cool gelato. I’ve been fantasizing about making mulberry ice cream from scratch with berries from my friend’s farm. I also know that this renewed interest is in no small part due to a run in I recently had with Coolhaus, the roving ice cream sandwich truck.
It’s quite simple: you pick your cookie (oatmeal, choc chip, snickerdoodle, etc), select your ice cream (blood orange, marscapone balsamic fig and brown butter with candied bacon among others) and the magic begins. Delish!
