Presents in Bloom

Can’t believe the holidays are upon us – still many gifts that need to be wrapped and stockings that need to be stuffed! Here’s a short list of some of my gifting inspirations, starting with the above box of goodies, which my thoughtful sister presented me for my birthday. Dishtowels, ribbon and notebooks presented in a beautiful pink box – in the words of Martha, “it’s a good thing.

Speaking of Martha, I found this copy of Martha Stewart Christmas from 1989 in my mom’s bookshelf and I was instantly flooded with memories of flipping through it as a kid and dreaming of wreaths and potpourri not to mention cookies and gingerbread houses. I was happy to discover many gently used copies on Ebay.

A World of Interiors magazine subscription would be the perfect gift for anyone on the quest for a little inspiration.

I’m in love with these ankle socks by Hansel from Basel – hello stocking stuffer.

As we all know by now, you can’t go wrong with Clare Vivier. I’m particularly loving the leopard print clutches.

And lastly – the gift that keeps giving. Homemade jams and preserves made by Jen Smith of Full Moon Pickles.
