Mastering the Art

Can’t wait to see Julie & Julia tonight! Although I didn’t love the book, I love Meryl and I adored My Life in France, Julia Child’s memoir. I’ve also been up since 6AM working on a fancy French dessert for a Julia Child dinner party I’m attending tonight. The recipe comes directly from my mom’s first edition of Mastering the Art of French Cooking and it’s pretty cute to see all her old notes alongside the recipes.
