Do you know Marta Teegen? She’s a master gardener and chef who does garden design here in Los Angeles with an emphasis on all things edible. She just came out with her first book and I went to a signing last week at Potted.

She gave the enraptured crowd tips on how to plan and plant an edible fall garden. Something that is now on the top of my to do list. Come fall that is (specifically post-santa ana winds, according to Marta).

Potted really is such a gorgeous shop, with lovely little treasures scattered about the indoor/outdoor space. Particularly loved the Woolly Pocket installation against that beautiful blue wall. The good life really does grow in pockets!
