It’s Tropical in Hollywood

Last weekend, Alex and I got lost in the beautiful store, The Tropics, after reading Jeana Sohn’s post about this near magical wonderland of tropical plants. We fell in love with the 50-year old Mexican plants and handmade pots (above) but ultimately bought the two below specimens for each other as Valentine’s Day gifts. Romantic, no?

The other exciting garden update is that our plum tree (planted in May) has blossomed with the most beautiful and fragrant little white flowers. I can’t wait for plums!
