While we’re on the topic of lovely Amelia, I am sure that many of you are familiar with her stellar blog Bon Appétempt, right? Her hilarious and beautiful posts are always a highlight of my week and apparently I’m not alone in my adoration seeing she has just been nominated for one of Saveur’s Best Food Blog awards, which – not to completely geek out – is a huge f-ing deal. Specifically, her essay about cooking with her 92 year old grandma, Serious Food: In the Kitchen with Grandma was nominated for best culinary essay. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend you do.
