Y’all. It’s been HOT in Los Angeles. Angelenos can generally depend on pleasant temperatures year-round, so when something noteworthy happens (heat wave, rainstorm) we can’t stop talking about it. Thankfully, we get such killer produce here that I truly believe that I could exist on avocados and heirloom tomates. This above breakfast is a riff on my favorite Cafe Gitane-inspired avocado toast. Slice an avocado and arrange atop a piece of sourdough toast. Sprinkle with sea salt and serve with a fried egg.
