This past weekend, I flew up to San Francisco to see my sister’s thesis poetry reading. She was amazing. So amazing that I can’t even really talk about it yet.
But what I can talk about is the culinary revelation I experienced at Zuni Cafe, when I took my first bite of their famous “chicken for two roasted in the brick oven”. Oooh la la! My April issue of Saveur magazine tapped it as one of “9 signature dishes” and referred to its “seismic effect not because of a radical combination of ingredients but simply because it’s the best of its kind.” Agreed. Here is the recipe.
