My Favorite Day

Cozy sunday in full effect. Much needed after a very hard work week. It’s been pouring rain all day and I’m happily tucked in reading cookbooks and relaxing. Lots of good cooking too…

Alex made a delicious loaf of sweat potato wheat bread.

We tried out Saveur’s recipe for Baked Eggs. Big success, if I do say so myself.

And spent a good portion of the day pouring over some new cookbooks.

PS. How ’bout those peonies? Crazy pretty.
