Remember I wrote about Marta Teegan awhile back? She’s the master garden who taught me and a group of enthusiastic ladies all we need to know about planing our fall edible gardens.

Marta just launched a new project – the marketplace and take-out cafe, Cookbook, opened in Echo Park. They stock seasonal produce, imported dry goods, locally produced ice cream, fresh cut flowers, milk, eggs, lentils, beans and of course, a selection cookbooks will be available for purchase.
