From Peaches to Pumpkins
With these 100 degree temps, it’s no shock that summer peaches are still bountiful and they were nearly giving them away at $1 per pound at the Hollywood Farmer’s Market. We got almost ten pounds. Which quite quickly led to these little babies:
With five jars of jam sealed, temperatures climbing and a pile of peaches still remaining, a homemade summer cocktail really seemed like the natural next step:
Vodka mixed with the juice of one lime, one orange and muddled peaches is a nothing short of heaven on a sweltering day.
But with the future in mind, here’s my question for ya. Is there anything more beautiful than seeing the first pumpkins of the season?
